Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love was a guest on Late Night with Seth Myers Friday night and gave fans an update on the shoulder injury that kept him out for most of the team’s playoff run.

Love dislocated his left shoulder in the opening round of the Eastern Conference playoffs after getting tangled up with Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk. He underwent surgery in late April and was ruled out 4–6 months.

“I feel great,” Love told Myers. “I actually spent three weeks in Park City, Utah at the Olympic training facility there, rehabbed my shoulder, got in great shape and I feel great. I’m probably about a month, month and a half away. I don’t want to set an immediate deadline now, but I really feel good.”

In July, Love signed a five-year, $110 million extension to stay in Cleveland.

The 27-year-old averaged 16.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game on 43.4% shooting last season, his first with the Cavaliers.
