Hornets forward Marvin Williams has been fined $15,000 for a flagrant foul in Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, the NBA announced.
Hornets forward Marvin Williams has been fined $15,000 for a flagrant foul in Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, the NBA announced on Wednesday.
Williams was fined for “excessive contact with his elbow to the head” of Knicks forward Lou Amundson with 7:45 remaining in the fourth quarter of Charlotte’s 102–94 loss to New York. The foul was deemed a flagrant-2.
Williams, 29, is averaging 9.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks this season.
