Jonas Valanciunas reportedly will forgo surgery on fractured left hand
Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas fractured his left hand against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas fractured the fourth metacarpal of his left hand and exited Friday night’s 102–91 win against the Los Angeles Lakers, the team announced.
Yahoo! Sports’ Shams Charania reported Saturday that Valanciunas will not have surgery on the fracture, instead opting for a rehabilitation route. Valanciunas shoots primarily right-handed.
Valanciunas is averaging 13.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in 13 games. He played at least 80 games in the past two seasons for Toronto.
