Report: Atlanta Hawks looking to trade Jeff Teague
The Atlanta Hawks are looking to trade guard Jeff Teague, reports Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Mannix.
According to a report by ESPN’s Ian Begley, the New York Knicks are interested in acquiring Teague from Atlanta.
The 27-year-old is in his seventh season with the Hawks, after having been selected by the team in the first round of the 2009 draft out of Wake Forest.
Teague is averaging 14.3 points, 5.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game this season. The 2015 All-Star is currently shooting just 41.3 percent from the field, which is his worst mark since his rookie year.
Over his NBA career, Teague has averaged 11.8 points, 5.1 assists and 2.1 rebounds per contest.
