The Suns have waived veteran forward Kris Humphries, who was acquired from the Wizards at the trade deadline, the team announced Sunday. He will sign with the Hawks, Yahoo’s Marc Spears reports.
Humphries, 31, was part of the trade that sent Markieff Morris to Washington on Feb. 18. Phoenix also acquired DeJuan Blair and a first-round pick in the deal.
Humpries played four games with the Suns before being waived. In 32 games this season with Phoenix and Washington, Humphries is averaging 6.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 16.9 minutes.

The Hawks are 32–27, in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
