Dikembe Mutombo escapes Brussels attack unharmed

NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo was present at Brussels Airport during Tuesday morning’s terror attacks, and escaped unharmed.

NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo was present at Brussels Airport during Tuesday morning’s terror attack, but escaped unharmed.

Mutombo posted photos to Facebook and informed the world he was OK.

“God is good,” he said. “I am in Brussels Airport with this craziness. I am fine.”

The attack in Belgium killed dozens of people and left more injured.

The Belgian national team, which is scheduled to play Portugal next week in Brussels, canceled Tuesday’s practice. 

Throughout the day, Belgian athletes have tweeted their support for their country.
