Using Blake Griffin as its muse, Jordan Brand has officially unveiled the Jordan Super.Fly 5 on Wednesday. The Los Angeles Clippers star, who signed with the brand in 2012, has worn models from the Super.Fly series since his welcome.
Jordan designers drew inspiration from Griffin’s high-flying ability to craft a shoe with a versatile lightweight upper that provides targeted support and breathability, an inner sleeve with foam pods to enhance comfort and fit and forefoot Nike Zoom Air-ensuring lightweight responsiveness and ultimate lockdown.

Rarely lacking creativity when it comes to shelling out a sneaker, the brand pegged English artist James Roper to draw inspiration from the Jordan Super.Fly 5 in his artwork. Roper used various kinds of art forms like cartoon, baroque sculpture, and fashion combined with the explosive playing style of Griffin to create illustrations for the silhouette.
