Nick Young on D’Angelo Russell: I can't be mad forever
Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young said he can’t stay mad at teammate D'Angelo Russell.
Russell kicked off a bizarre saga during the NBA season, surreptitiously filming Young as he apparently admitted to cheating on his then-fiancée and pop star Iggy Azalea. Azalea and Young have since called off their engagement, and Young initially rebuffed apology attempts from Russell.
“It’s been so long, so it’s kind of old,” Young told the L.A. Daily News about the incident. “We’ll be able to work it out. We’ve already been working it out. It is what it is. I can’t be mad forever.”

Russell has since parodied the cell phone incident in a commercial, and Young joked to the Daily News he needs his own commercial now.
Though Young and Russell’s future may be secure, Young may not be his teammate for much longer. The shooting guard has one year left on his contract with the Lakers, and is rumored to be a buyout candidate before the start of the season.
