San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and TNT announcer Craig Sager became famous for their in-game interviews throughout the years. On Thursday, Sager died at the age of 65 after a long battle with cancer.
Sager had battled cancer for more than two years. He was first diagnosed with leukemia in 2014. He went into remission after a bone marrow transplant, but the the disease ultimately returned in March.

Craig Sager Jr. interviewed Popovich in his father's absence and sent a message to Sager while he was away.
Back in October, Popovich and Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr wore colorful ties to honor Sage honor his fight.
