What To Expect In Final Orlando Magic-Cleveland Cavaliers Matchup

Cleveland looks for its 11th win in its last 12 games in its regular-season series finale against Orlando.

Back on February 14, the Cleveland Cavaliers won for the 10th time in their last 11 games when they defeated the Chicago Bulls by a score of 108-105.

Tonight, the Wine and Gold will play their first game since the NBA All-Star Break when they host the Orlando Magic.

Here are four things to expect in the final matchup between these two teams this regular season.

1. More Garland and Mobley On the Floor

After both returned from their respective injuries in a limited capacity, Cavaliers Head Coach J.B. Bickerstaff announced yesterday that Darius Garland and Evan Mobley are now no longer on a minute restriction.

Since the two returned from injury, Cleveland has gone 8-1, and looks to continue building on this momentum.

2. A Strong Strus Performance

Cavaliers swingman Max Strus is due for a substantial scoring performance. Over his last five games, he is averaging just 7.8 points per game, which is over four points below his season average of 12.2 per contest.

In three games against Orlando this season, the 27-year-old has averaged 11.0 points per contest, while shooting 35.3% from three-point range.

3. Magic Limited from Beyond the Arc

The Wine and Gold have done a good job of limiting the Magic from beyond the arc so far this season.

In three meetings, Cleveland has held Orlando to an average of just 6.7 three-pointers per game on just 25.6% shooting from deep.

4. Wagner With A Well-Rounded Game

Magic forward Franz Wagner has been an all-around threat against the Wine and Gold this season.

The 22-year-old has averaged 16.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and one steal per contest in three games against Cleveland.
