The Rock Takes Unexpected Shot at Ja Morant
The Rock is one of the greatest professional wrestlers on a microphone in the history of the game. So much so, that even Ja Morant wasn't safe from his verbal beatdown.
On the newest episode of WWE Smackdown, The Rock held a concert in the city of Memphis. Throughout the concert, he bashed numerous members of the WWE roster, but also managed to take a shot at Ja Morant, too. As The Rock was taking a shot at a wrestler named Seth Rollins, that's when he made his remark about Ja.
"Cackling and dancing is all that you do," The Rock said. "No wonder that your wife's more popular than you. You're so damn desperate to make them all cheer, but The Rock is going to make that title, disappear. You're simply an embarrassment, son. Just like Ja Morant when he's waving a gun. I love you Ja! Get better soon!"
It's worth noting that The Rock is playing the character of a villain right now and has no ill will toward Ja Morant and is just trying to rile up the city of Memphis. He even broke character and added a little "I love you Ja" at the end of it.
It's been months since Ja Morant's last incident with a gun, and hopefully, there won't be any more moving forward. From everything fans have seen, Morant has learned from his mistakes, knows how much his mistakes cost his team, and won't allow it to happen again.
