LeBron James Reacts to Kyrie Irving's Game Winner vs. Nuggets
Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving knocked down an incredible game-winning left-handed floater to defeat the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon. The shot took the internet by storm, and got a reaction from Irving's former teammate, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James:
Reacting to Damian Lillard's claim that Irving is the most skilled player ever, James co-signed that statement. Having won a championship with Irving in 2016, James knows how talented he is, and believes the star guard is the most skilled player the game has ever seen.
Irving may be the only player who could pull off that shot in that moment and make it look effortless. Not only was that incredibly far for a floater, but to do it with the off-hand, and over Nikola Jokic, made it that much more impressive.
This was a huge win for the Mavericks, and a tough loss for the Nuggets. Dallas is trying to climb out of the play-in tournament, while holding off teams like the Lakers and Golden State Warriors. For Denver, they are trying to regain hold of the first seed, as they currently trail the OKC Thunder by a half-game after this loss.
An incredibly exciting game between two Western Conference rivals, the Mavericks and Nuggets delivered a thriller on Sunday afternoon, and it was capped off by an incredible game winner by Irving.
