Giants' David Wilson cleared for training camp

New York Giants running back David Wilson has been cleared for training camp, Wilson announced on Monday on social media: 

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that Wilson underwent an MRI on Monday before receiving the news.

Wilson had surgery in January to treat a spinal condition that was discovered after he injured his neck during an Oct. 6 game against the Eagles, cutting his season short. He also had an MRI and exam in early June but was unable to gain medical clearance at that time. 

Wilson is entering his third NFL season. In his career he has five touchdowns and 504 yards on 115 carries.

Giants players report to training camp on Monday, with camp scheduled to begin Tuesday in East Rutherford, N.J.
