The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Friday they signed kicker Shaun Suisham to a four-year contract extension, keeping him with the team through the 2018 season. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Suisham has spent his last four seasons in Pittsburgh. After making just six out of 11 field goal attempts from 40-49 yards in 2011, he went a combined 20-for-20 from the same distance the last two years.

Overall, the 32-year-old made 30-of-32 field goals in 2013. He has not missed an extra point attempt since 2009.

In his career, Suisham has attempted 13 field goals from 50 yards or more, and made four of them.
