Detroit Lions rookie tight end Eric Ebron had some issues in college with keeping his hands on the ball and those issues have popped up during the first couple of weeks during training camp.

Ebron, the No. 10 pick by Detroit in the 2014 NFL draft, has also lined up in the wrong spot a few times, but says he will be better once he stops having mental blocks and overthinking his assignments.

"I've already hit my rookie wall," Ebron said, via the Detroit Free Press. "I felt like that last week of the learning process and getting over the curve, that was it for me. Now it's about staying true to who I am and doing everything that got me here, and better."

Ebron and the Lions will start their preseason against the Cleveland Browns at home on Aug. 9. They begin the regular season on Sept. 8 against the New York Giants during a Monday Night Football game.
