Panthers defensive ends Charles Johnson, Kony Ealy return to practice
Panthers defensive ends Charles Johnson and Kony Ealy returned to practice Thursday, according to the team.
Ealy had a foot sprain that held him out of practice since Sunday. Johnson had been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Johnson recorded 11 sacks in 14 games last season. Carolina led the league with 60 total sacks in 2013.
Ealy was a second-round pick in this year's draft. He had 9.5 sacks in 14 games at Missouri last season.

The Panthers also announced that starters Roman Harper and Greg Olsen sat out Thursday's practice.
