Bears receiver Marquess Wilson could miss at least half of the upcoming season after breaking his clavicle in practice two weeks ago, according to a report from USA Today Sports.

A timetable for Wilson's return was not known when he underwent surgery less than a day after suffering the injury,

Wilson, 21, caught two passes for 13 yards over 10 games with Chicago last season.

A seventh-round pick out of Washington State in 2013, Wilson was competing for the Bears' No. 3 receiver spot.

The Bears on Saturday announced that they signed former Steelers and Jets receiver Santonio Holmes.
