San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh says his team needs to improve in every area after a 34-0 rout at the hands of the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

The 49ers managed just 230 yards of total offense and turned the ball over four times in the team’s debut at the new $1.2 billion Levi's Stadium.

Starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick saw action on 16 plays, and the team generated five first downs in the two series he played.

MoreCool home, but concern for 49ers?

“We got to get better,” Harbaugh said, according to CSNBayarea.com. “This is going to be an important week for us -- a big week. We need improvement. And we need to make decisions on who we’re playing with. We’re not going to keep experimenting. We got to tighten this down fast.”

The 49ers have scored three points in their two preseason games. The team’s next preseason game is Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
