Chicago Bears right tackle Jordan Mills, who has missed the team's first two preseason games with a left foot injury, will not play in the Bears' third preseason game against the Seattle SeahawksAdam Jahns of The Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Mills had surgery in January to repair a fractured metatarsal. A little more than two weeks ago, the tackle felt some pain in his left foot, so the Bears put him in a walking boot. Though he missed Monday's practice, he is now out of the boot.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:

“My foot is doing great,” Mills said. “I’m taking it day by day. I should be back soon, hopefully next week.”

“There was a little soreness when I hurt it two weeks ago,” Mills said. “But we’re just being careful. That’s why they put me in the boot, just to be cautious.

“I’m a 318-pound man applying force to it every day, so I’ve got to take it easy.”

Mills is listed as the starter at right tackle, ahead of Eben Britton and Joe Long on the Bears preseason depth chart.
