Washington Redskins outside linebacker Brian Orakpo admitted they wanted to rattle Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel during their 24-23 preseason victory on Monday night.

After teammate Ryan Kerrigan sacked Manziel in the first quarter, Orakpo threw up Manziel’s signature “money” sign.

The heckling continued until Manziel gave the entire Washington team a middle-finger in the third quarter

"It was hilarious," Orakpo said, according to ESPN.com. "We were messing with him a little bit, just saying this ain't college and stuff like that. We were having a little fun."

Manziel, who completed only six of his 17 passes, but threw a touchdown pass said he didn’t notice Orakpo making fun of him.

"I didn't even notice it," Manziel said. "I was really tuned in and more upset at myself about the first play on that drive not letting that ball fly to (tight end Jordan Cameron) as he was coming under. I kind of hesitated, and when you hesitate things close up."
