Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will be in a cast for 10 days and then be re-evaluated by the team's medical staff, head coach Jay Gruden said at a press conference Wednesday.

Griffin dislocated his ankle during Washington's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. An MRI on the ankle revealed no fractures.

On Monday, Gruden said he does not have a timeline for Griffin's possible return this season and that the Redskins may bring in another quarterback while Griffin rehabs the ankle. Kirk Cousins replaced Griffin on Sunday and threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Griffin was wearing the cast on Monday while at Washington's team facility and was also on crutches.

Washington plays at the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
