Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson suffered an apparent knee injury in the fourth quarter of New York's loss to the Bears on Monday night.

The 24-year-old, a first round pick by the Jets in 2011, went down late in the fourth quarter of Monday's 27-19 loss after he collided with teammate Calvin Pace while attempting to sack Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. He walked gingerly off the field and was examined by trainers on the sideline. Jets coach Rex Ryan said after the game that the team believes it's not serious.

The Jets dropped to 1-2 following Monday's loss to Chicago. They face the Lions at home on Sunday in Week 4.
