The 26-year-old has missed time over his six seasons due to various injuries, including to his hip, hamstring and ankle. Harvin missed practice on Thursday with a thigh injury.

Harvin missed most of the 2013 season -- the year the Seahawks won the Super Bowl -- with a hip injury. He played in just one regular season game and two postseason games.

The Jets (1-6) are idle this weekend before hosting the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 26.
