Tom Brady has a cold, says he'll be '100 percent' for Super Bowl

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told reporters on Wednesday that he's been battling a cold ahead of Super Bowl XLIX, according to NBC's ProFootballTalk.

Brady said his cold has been going on for a while but he isn't concerned about it affecting his play against the Seattle Seahawks.

"Yeah, I've had it for four or five days," Brady said. "My kids got sick, and then my wife's pretty sick right now, so I brought it, unfortunately, to Phoenix. But I'll be fine. I'll be good."

Brady was also asked whether or not Patriots fans should be concerned about his condition, and he reiterated that he will "be at 100 percent" and ready to go come Sunday.

In leading his team to the AFC title this season, Brady threw for 4,109 yards and 33 touchdowns. 

Brady and the Patriots will take on the Seahawks this Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET in Glendale, Ariz.
