Terrell Owens: 'I haven't officially retired'

In an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, former standout wide receiver said that he hasn't officially retired from football.

"I'm ready to go right now," Owens said, adding that he thinks he could play "at least 75 percent" of a game.

"I haven't officially retired, Rich, but given the right opportunity, I know I could play, despite what anybody says."

Owens added that he views himself as someone who could "really defy the odds. I'm not your average 41-year-old."

Owens last played in the NFL in 2010, with the Cincinnati Bengals.

He appeared in two preseason games with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012, but was cut before the start of the regular season.

Over 15 seasons in the NFL, Owens caught 1,078 passes for 15,934 yards with 153 touchdowns and earned six Pro Bowl nods.
