Vince Wilfork pays tribute to former teammate Junior Seau
Houston Texans defensive tackle Vince Wilfork paid tribute to former teammate Junior Seau on Instagram.
Vince Wilfork and Junior Seau were teammates for four seasons in New England.
Both were standouts on a defense for one of the most successful franchises of the last decade, with Wilfork often clogging up running lanes for Seau to clean up from 2006 to 2009.
On Saturday, Seau was posthumously inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. That led Wilfork, now a member of the Houston Texans, to post this touching tribute on Instagram:
Seau, a 10-time All Pro and 12-time Pro Bowl selection, committed suicide at age 43 after battling with chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a type of chronic brain damage.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday by his daughter, Sydney.
