Report: Buccaneers place rookie WR Kenny Bell on injured reserve list
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed rookie wide receiver Kenny Bell on the injured reserve list.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed rookie wide receiver Kenny Bell on the injured reserve list, reports Jason Cole of Bleacher Report.
Bell injured his hamstring during a preseason practice on Aug. 27. The injury kept him out of the last two preseason games.
The former Nebraska Cornhusker did not have any preseason catches for Tampa Bay.
Bell, 23, was drafted by the Bucs in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL draft. He is Nebraska's all-time leading receiver with 181 receptions during his collegiate career.
Bell has been competing with Russell Shepard, Robert Herron and Kaelin Clay for a spot on the Bucs' roster.
