Titans coach Whisenhunt: RB usage will depend on gameplan
The Tennessee Titans will determine their running back usage week-to-week.
The Tennessee Titans will distribute carries to their running backs depending on each week’s matchup, coach Ken Whisenhunt told reporters Friday
The Titans are bringing back four running backs that saw action last season, Bishop Sankey, Shonn Greene, Dexter McCluster and Antonio Andrews, as well as fifth-round pick David Cobb.
Sankey had a team-high 152 carries in 2014 as a rookie, with Greene and McCluster combining for 134. In total, Tennessee running backs scored just five times.
The Titans open their season on Sept. 13 on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
