Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown left Sunday’s game against the Jets after a hit sent him into a spin at the 1-yard line.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown left Sunday’s game against the Jets with a concussion after a hit sent him into a spin at the 1-yard line.

The Browns announced he will not return.

McCown was rushing up the middle midway through the second quarter, and as he attempted to dive for the goal line, he was hit near the head and helicoptered to the ground.

​Backup Johnny Manziel stepped in as McCown was sent off for tests.
