St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason is inactive for the team's Week 1 game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Rams announced Sunday.
Mason did not practice this week due to an injured hamstring. Running back Benny Cunningham will start in Mason's place.
First-round pick Todd Gurley, who is recovering from a knee injury sustained in college, was also listed as inactive.
Last season, as a rookie, Mason played in 12 games, recording 179 carries for 765 yards and four touchdowns.
