After the Colts loss to the Jets on Monday night, Indianapolis head coach Chuck Pagano was critical of quarterback Andrew Luck.

In his postgame press conference, Pagano didn’t hold anything back on how he felt about Luck’s performance, which included four turnovers and just one touchdown in the 20–7 defeat.

“Can’t turn the damn ball over,” Pagano said, according to Indy Sports Central’s Mike Chappell.

Running back Frank Gore also committed a turnover when he fumbled the ball at the Indianapolis goal line, putting the team total for turnovers at five.

“[Luck’s] got to take care of the football,” Pagano said. “Make great decisions. It’s not that hard. It’s not trigonometry.”

The Jets defense overwhelmed the Colts offensive line at times, but Pagano did not accept that as an excuse for Luck’s failures.

“[That’s] been the case for three years now, has it not?,” Pagano said. “[He] should be more comfortable dealing with [it].”

After losing to the Jets and the Bills, the Colts are 0–2 to start their season. They will take on the 1–1 Titans in Week 3.
