Report: Decision on Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin expected Monday
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross will decide on the fate of coach Joe Philbin by Monday, reports Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio.
The Dolphins fell to 1–3 Sunday with a 27–14 loss to division rival the New York Jets. It was the second straight week the Dolphins fell behind big against a divisional opponent, and Miami’s third straight loss.
Philbin has come under criticism for the Dolphins’ slow starts in 2015. Miami has faced a double-digit deficit in each of its first four games.
The Dolphins entered the season with high expectations after signing quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a contract extension and adding Ndamukong Suh in free agency during the off-season.

Miami has a bye in Week 5, and will play the Tennessee Titans in Week 6.
