Former NFL linebacker Adrian Robinson, who committed suicide in May, was found have been suffering from the brain disease known as CTE, according to the Associated Press.
CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) has been found in the brains of numerous NFL players who have committed suicide, including Junior Seau and Dave Duerson.
Robinson, 25, was found dead in Philadelphia in May, one month after he signed a contract with a Canadian Football League team. The coroner later determined the cause of death was suicide by hanging.
Robinson played 22 games over two seasons for four different teams after starring as a defensive lineman for Temple University.
