Eagles LT Jason Peters (back) “should be good to go” vs. Cowboys
Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters “should be good to go“ for the Nov. 8 game against the Dallas Cowboys, head coach Chip Kelly announced on Monday.
Peters was carted off the field in the first quarter of Sunday night’s loss against the Carolina Panthers. He underwent x-rays on his back, which came back negative.
The Eagles ruled it a lower back injury and Peters never returned to the game. Matt Tobin replaced Peters at left tackle.
Peters has started every game for the Eagles since missing the 2012 season with a torn Achilles tendon. He has been selected to the Pro Bowl in every season he’s played for Philadelphia and was an All-Pro selection in 2011 and 2013.
