The San Francisco 49ers have traded tight end Vernon Davis to the Denver Broncos for three draft picks, the Broncos announced Monday.

Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported the news.

The 49ers will swap sixth and seventh round picks with the Broncos in the 2016 draft, and receive a sixth round pick in 2017 for Davis, according to the Schefter.

In six games this season, Davis has 18 catches for 194 yards. A 2006 first-round pick, Davis has 441 catches for 5,640 yards and 55 touchdowns in 10 seasons with San Francisco.
