The Indianapolis Colts have placed rookie defensive tackle Henry Anderson on injured reserve, the team announced Monday.

Anderson, a third-round pick out of Stanford in this year’s NFL draft, left Sunday’s 27–24 win over the Denver Broncos with a knee injury and did not return. According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, initial tests revealed a torn ACL.

Anderson started all nine games for Indianapolis this season, and recorded 35 total tackles, one sack and two passes defended.

He was replacing veteran Arthur Jones, who was placed on IR in September with an ankle injury.

The Colts are entering their bye week with a 4–5 record.
