Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a 61-yard touchdown pass to tight end Richard Rodgers on the final play of Thursday night’s game to defeat the Lions 27–23. 

The Packers were down 17–0 at the end of half. Green Bay scored 14 points in the third quarter and 13 in the fourth quarter to take home the win.

On the second to last play of the game, Lions defensive end Devin Taylor was called for a 15-yard penalty for grabbing Rodgers’ facemask while he was attempting to throw the ball. The penalty allowed the Packers to moved up to their 39-yard line.

The victory brings the Packers to 8–4 on the season, while the Lions fall to 4–8.
