Tom Coughlin ‘not necessarily done with coaching’ after leaving Giants
Former Giants coach Tom Coughlin told reporters Tuesday that he is “not necessarily done with coaching” after announcing his resignation on Monday.
Giants owner John Mara said he would like Coughlin to consider taking a personnel advisory role with the team.
“I don’t know exactly what is next for me,” Coughlin said, adding that his focus in the immediate future will be his charity work with the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund.

Coughlin’s farewell press conference began five minutes before schedule, a nod to the rule he instituted when he took over as head coach in 2004.
Several of Coughlin’s current and former players were in attendance, including an emotional Eli Manning.
