Free agent running back Trent Richardson plans to sign with the Baltimore Ravens, reports Matt Zenitz of AL.com.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said the team is bringing Richardson in for a physical, but a deal has not been finalized.

A former first-round pick, Richardson spent the entire 2015 season as a free agent after being cut by the Oakland Raiders prior to the regular season. He signed a two-deal with Oakland in March and missed a portion of training camp with pneumonia.

Richardson made 12 starts for the Indianapolis Colts in 2014, but only managed 519 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games.

His best season came as a rookie with the Cleveland Browns in 2012. That year, Richardson carried the ball 267 times for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns.
