Carrie Underwood has recorded a new opening theme song for NBC's Sunday Night Football. The song, which is titled “Oh, Sunday Night,” will debut when the Arizona Cardinals open the season against the New England Patriots on Sept. 11.

Underwood, who rose to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol over rocker Bo Bice, is in her fourth season of performing the opening theme song for NBC's prime-time program.

“Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” has been the theme song since 2006’s rendition by Faith Hill. Underwood took over for the 2013 season.
