NFL Week 1 injury roundup: Keenan Allen, Brian Cushing carted off
San Diego Chargers receiver Keenan Allen was injured during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Allen was carted off the field with a right knee injury and ruled out for the rest of the game.
Allen was one of several notable players injured during Sunday’s action.
Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing was also carted off with an apparent knee injury.

Allen, who recorded 67 catches for 725 yards in just eight games last season, was emotional as he left the field.
Brian Cushing, Texans — Knee, did not return
Cushing will miss six weeks with an MCL tear, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports, though he will not need surgery. He started every game at middle linebacker for the Texans last year.
Russell Wilson, Seahawks — Ankle
Wilson has a "significant" right ankle injury and his availability to play in Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams has been put into question, reports Rapoport. Wilson did not miss a snap after sustaining the injury in the third quarter on a sack by Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
Delvin Breaux, Saints — Leg, did not return
Breaux was helped off by trainers before being taken to the locker room on a cart. The team fears a broken fibula.
Evan Mathis, Cardinals — Ankle
The guard was carted off the field after a pile of players fell on his ankle.
Theo Riddick, Lions — Head, returned
The speedy running back was taken into the locker room to be tested for a concussion but later returned to score his second touchdown of the game.
Patrick Robinson, Colts — Head, did not return
Robinson was diagnosed with a concussion late in the second quarter.
Menelik Watson, Raiders — Groin, questionable
Watson, an offensive lineman, missed all of last season after tearing his Achilles tendon.
Mario Williams, Dolphins — Head, did not return
The defensive end sustained a concussion in a loss to the Seahawks.
Cordy Glenn, Bills — Ankle, did not return
Cyrus Kouandijo replaced Glenn at left tackle.
Matt McCants, Raiders — Leg
After the Raiders already lost Menelik Watson, right tackle McCants also went down.
