The NFL has decided not to fine New York Giants wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz, Tennessee Titans linebacker Avery Williamson and Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee for the 9/11 tributes that were displayed on their cleats on Sunday, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

Players can be fined for violating the league's uniform code and some were reportedly warned before the game.

McAfee tweeted on Wednesday that he had not been fined.

Williamson chose to sport the cleats in spite of the threat of a fine, which police unions as well as Titans head coach Mike Mularkey offered to pay ahead of the game. Williamson plans to auction off his cleats with the proceeds going to Operation Warrior Wishes.
