Reports: Patriots sign Glenn Gronkowski to practice squad
New England added Glenn Gronkowski to its practice squad on Saturday.
The Patriots have signed fullback Glenn Gronkowski to their practice squad, according to multiple reports.
Glenn, 23, is the youngest brother of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. He was signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State this off-season and made the the 53-man roster before being waived in early September.
New England rosters one fullback, 28-year-old James Develin, though it doesn’t use him too often. This doesn’t mean Gronkowski will see the field alongside his brother anytime soon, though it is a step in the right direction.
Pete Thamel profiled Glenn in Sports Illustrated in Nov. 2014.
