Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos came so close to forcing overtime against the Commanders on Sunday after the QB connected with rookie WR Brandon Johnson on one of the coolest Hail Marys that you’ll ever see.

That touchdown after time expired gave the Broncos a chance to go for two points, which would have tied the game if they were able to convert. Wilson’s pass to Courtland Sutton, however, fell incomplete, and Washington left with a 35-33 victory. 

Replays of that final play sure make it look as if the officials missed an obvious pass interference call on Commanders cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, who appeared to tackle Sutton before the ball arrived: 

That looked like it deserved to be called.
