Aaron Rodgers Throws Verbal Knock-out Punch at Antagonizing Political Hack

Appearing on McAfee Show two days after surgery, four-time NFL MVP has message for harsh critic

Aaron Rodgers has never been afraid to speak up for himself or beliefs. Displaying that trait again on Friday, the New York Jets' quarterback dropped an anvil on combative talking head Keith Olbermann.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show only two days removed from successful Achilles surgery, the future Hall-of-Fame field general clapped back at Olbermann for his classless posts on the social media site formerly known as Twitter.

"Get your fifth booster, Keith," said Rodgers before emphatically labeling Olbermann as a "bum."

The 19th-year NFL pro's comment highlights the fact that the vaccine, and subsequent booster shots, have not effectively stopped viral transmission, yet folks like Olbermann insist everyone must be jabbed.

Olbermann, a former SportsCenter anchor who has transitioned into a kook fringe political commentator, has openly bashed Rodgers for the four-time NFL MVP's vocal support of vaccine choice and medical freedom. The 39-year-old Rodgers declined the COVID-19 vaccine for well-explained reasons, and a number of mandate-obsessed politics hacks have relentlessly criticized his stance.

After Rodgers suffered the devastating injury four offensive snaps into the Monday Night Football season opener, Olbermann posted messages such as "#SuddenUnvaccinatedInjury" and "#AchillesToreSuddenly." The deranged media personality seemingly implied that Rodgers's decision to decline the COVID shot contributed to his Achilles rupture. He seemed to celebrate the star signal caller's injury.

Rodgers, who eviscerated the NFL's COVID-related mandates during an interview on the Joe Rogan Experience in August 2022, recently used his Instagram account to commend four-time US Open champion Novak Djokovic for his excellence on the court and conviction in the stand against mandates.

Opting not to take the vaccine, Djokovic was not permitted to enter the United States for the 2022 US Open. He returned to the tournament in 2023 and claimed his 24th major singles championship.
