New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction for Sunday’s Game

With both of these two teams desperate for a win we are in for a great NFC South matchup. The Buccaneers are playing great football winning four straight games over the Panthers, Falcons, Packers and Jaguars.

They have done so on the back of their quarterback Baker Mayfield who is playing arguably the best football of his career. During those four wins, Mayfield has 11 touchdowns compared to just one interception. He also has completed over 70% of his passes in the last two games as well. The way he is playing right now makes this Bucs team a hard one to beat.

The Saints defense is a stingy one even with Marshon Lattimore out for the season. But in the first matchup between these two teams which was a 26-9 win for the Bucs Mayfield carved that defense up for 246 yards and three touchdowns.

Now looking at the Saints side of things, and they have quarterback Derek Carr at the helm of this offense. Carr has had an up-and-down first season with the Saints to the least, but has come on strong as of late. The Saints have won two of their last three games and Derek Carr has thrown eight touchdowns compared to just two interceptions.

The Buccaneers defense has been better as of late but on the season they have been beaten up by opposing quarterbacks. The Bucs defense has allowed the most passing yards to opposing quarterbacks in the NFL. It will be interesting to see who wins that matchup this week between Derek Carr and the Bucs secondary.

Both of these two teams are tough to pick against with them playing good football, but we are going to side with the home team in this one. Our Saints vs. Buccaneers prediction is Buccaneers -2.5 (-110) at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Player Prop Bets & Picks for Saints vs. Buccaneers Featuring Chris Olave & Mike Evans

To go along with our Saints vs. Buccaneers prediction we have laid out a few Saints vs. Buccaneers player props that have caught our eye at FanDuel Sportsbook as well.

Chris Olave Over 5.5 Receptions (-102 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

With Michael Thomas on IR, Chris Olave has really stepped up, and has become the alpha in this offense. In his last five games, Olave has seen at least five targets in four of the games, while catching at least six balls in three of them. As I mentioned above, the Bucs' secondary has been picked apart all season long. Olave should have no problem going over 5.5 receptions (-102 at FanDuel).

Mike Evans Anytime Touchdown (+120 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

This prop is my favorite bet when wagering on this game. Mike Evans’ nemesis Marshon Lattimore is on IR so he does not have to deal with him in this one, because we know that matchup has been an interesting one.

Evans has had an incredible season scoring 13 times already and having over 1,100 yards. But as of late, he has been on a scoring spree finding the end zone six times in his last five games. Getting a Mike Evans anytime touchdown (+120) at FanDuel Sportsbook seems like a great bet with outstanding odds.
