Left Tackle Prospect Olu Fashanu and Will Levis Get Reacquainted; Could They Reunite as Titans?

Olu Fashanu, one of the highest-ranked linemen in the 2024 NFL Draft, could be the Tennessee Titans' No. 1 pick. Fashanu said he and Titans quarterback Will Levis talked Friday about the possibility about playing together for the first time since Penn State.

INDIANAPOLIS – If the Tennessee Titans select Olu Fashanu with the seventh pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Penn State left tackle already has some familiarity with a key player on the Titans roster.

Quarterback Will Levis and Fashanu first met at State College, Pa., before Levis transferred to Kentucky and put up the numbers that prompted the Titans to draft him in the second round  a year ago.

"I talked to Will yesterday," Fashanu said Saturday at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. "It’d be great playing with Will. Obviously, he was at Penn State during my freshman year. He was one of the older guys that really made my transition at Penn State from high school ball a whole lot easier."

Fashanu said it has been a while since he and Levis saw each other, but he was glad to hear from the Titans quarterback a day before offensive linemen ran the 40-yard-dash.

"We were just catching up,” Fashanu said. “I haven’t seen him in person since my freshman year, but it was a good conversation. We just caught up and talked.”

The 6-foot-6, 319-pound Fashanu was a consensus first-team All-American last season and was the Big Ten offensive lineman of the year. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed zero sacks and only 10 pressures on 382 passing snaps last season.

Fashanu said his meeting with the Titans was productive and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute to any team that drafts him.

"At the end of the day, I am super-confident in my ability to play right now," Fashanu said. "I have been ready for this moment for a while, especially with the last couple of weeks training. I am extremely confident, and I am ready for this moment."
