Tennessee Titans Offensive Player Grades & Takeaways From Week 2 Win Over Los Angeles Chargers

The Tennessee Titans got a big overtime win over the Los Angeles Chargers and saw some excellent performances on offense, led by a brilliant game from quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

The Tennessee Titans picked up their first win of the season on Sunday led by a revived offense and a major bounce-back performance from quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

It was no surprise then that Tannehill also sat at the top of the Pro Football Focus players grades against the Chargers on the offensive side of the ball.

Top Five Grades

QB Ryan Tannehill - 92.5

RB Tyjae Spears - 83.9

LG Dillon Radunz - 74.3

TE Chig Okonkwo - 74.0

RT Chris Hubbard - 73.6

Tannehill was fantastic on Sunday. He made big plays down the field, was accurate over the middle, scored by land and by air. Incredible turnaround from what we saw from the veteran passer in New Orleans.

Dillon Radunz made his first appearance since tearing his ACL in December of 2022 and played over 50 snaps. To come back from injury that quick and fill in for starter Peter Skoronski that well is incredibly admirable for Radunz.

Standout Grades

A friendly reminder that standing out may have a positive connotation, but it isn't always a good thing to stand out. A perfect example is the Titans' offensive line in pass protection. Giving up five sacks on the day, the unit had their struggles.

Pass Blocking Grades

LT Andre Dillard - 51.1

LG Radunz - 41.7

C Aaron Brewer - 35.7

RG Daniel Brunskill - 75.5

RT Hubbard - 78.8

LG Xavier Newman-Johnson - 16.9

Dillard continues to struggle early in the year. He gave up three sacks on Sunday against the Chargers. Dillard wasn't alone in his struggles though as Radunz and Brewer struggled as well. Radunz was much better in run blocking than in protecting Tannehill.

Newman-Johnson started the game at left guard, but only played 12 snaps. He was replaced by Radunz quickly. Newman-Johnson simply couldn't handle the speed of the game and looked overmatched. Mike Vrabel having a quick hook likely saved the game for the Titans.
