The NFL has now fined five head coaches and teams 1.75 Million dollars for failing to wear face masks properly in Week 2. The National Football League is fining both teams and head coaches from Monday nights game.

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden and New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton have each been fined $100K for failing to properly wear face coverings on the sidelines. Both teams will also be fined $250K. This news comes just a day after the NFL fined Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco’s head coaches and teams.

The NFL sent a memo to clubs on September 12 stating that Coaches are required to wear a face-covering and quote “so that it securely fits across the wearer’s nose and mouth to prevent transmission of the virus.”
