D.C. United ended the first half of the MLS season at 11-6-4, and have 37 points, which puts them in second place in the Eastern Conference. The top five clubs in each conference make the playoffs. 

Fabian Espindola leads the team in both goals and assists, with seven each. Bill Hamid, Bobby Boswell and Sean Franklin made the 2014 MLS All-Star team.
